Born in San Nicole Di Caulonia Prov Reggio Calabria Italia on 28th September 1932.

Passed away peacefully with loving family by her side at Mildura Base Hospital om Saturday 19th August 2023.

Beloved wife of Pietro (Peter) (dec). Loving mother and Mother-in-law of Carmel and Joe Argiro, Vincenzo and Lynda Manno, Rita, Dora and Andrew Perry.

Adored Nonna of John and Sandra Argiro, Peter and Gina Argiro, Tania and Kristjan Hobbs, Vanessa and Dean Hall, Melissa (dec), Daniel and Fleur Manno, James and Luke Perry. Great Nonna of Joseph, Adriana, Cooper, Addison, Oliver, Amelia, Sienna, Vincent, Liliana, Harvey and Eli.

Daughter of the late Nicola (Vincenzo) and Maria Rosa (Carmela) Cirillo. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Antonio (dec) and Lucia Cirillo, Frank (dec) and Maria Cirillo. Beloved daughter-in-law of Vincenzo (dec) and Carmela (dec) Manno. Sister-in-law of Rosa (dec) Dichiera and Mary Fragomeni.

Maria was adored and loved by all of her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Family and friends are respectfully informed that Maria’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eleventh St Mildura, on Monday the 28th of August at 11.30am. followed by the interment at Nichols Point Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at the Chapel of North West Funerals, Deakin Ave Mildura on Sunday the 27th August at 5pm.

  4. Mary (Maria) Manno was our cousin, like a motherly Aunt to us whilst growing up in Mildura, and always remained in our heart. In times of joy she shared our happiness and participated in our family celebrations, always generous and loving. In times of grief she brought consolation, warmth, and provided stoic assistance. Mary will always remain part of our family and her spirit will continue to enrich us always.
