Passed away surrounded by loving family at Mildura Base Public Hospital, aged 90 years.

Much loved husband of Despina.  Loving father and father-in-law of Harry, and Effi and Domenic (Marziano).

Pappou of Thespina, Zoe and Peter.

Loved brother of George (dec),  Anna (dec), Yianni, Fotini (dec), Dimitra and their families.

The family give special thanks to the staff at the Mildura Base Public Hospital for their care of Tryfon.

Funeral Notice
Greek Orthordox Church 314 Deakin Avenue, MilduraView Map

Family and friends of the late Mr Tryfon Rekas are respectfully informed that his funeral service will be conducted at the Greek Orthodox Church, 314 Deakin Avenue, Mildura, on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 10.00am.

At the conclusion of the service, the cortege will proceed to Murray Pines Lawn Cemetery, Deakin Avenue, Mildura.

A blessing will be held at the Chapel of North West Funerals, 596 Deakin Avenue, Mildura on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 4.00pm.

  1. An absolute true gentleman that is certainly sadly missed. Tryfon (Tom)always welcomed you warmly into his home and ,over coffee he offered the most interesting stories. He also had a quiet and dry sense of humour which I will miss.
    Rest in Peace Tom.
