Love always ElvisI remember so much about Aunty Joan, her pasties were the best. She was a doting mother and wife. I can’t say I ever heard anyone say anything bad about her. She loved her Bingo times with Aunty Kay and she loved cooking.
She used to tut and sigh at us when we would do things out the dam, especially when Karen and I nearly rolled her Corolla on the loose limestone. Or when Joanne dropped her bike and ran from a snake. Or when we nearly rolled the short wheel based Landy going around the outside of the dam.
I think she truly loved Tramway Dam, she never said it but I think she loved going out there, especially when Aunty Val and Uncle Ron were there. Even when we helped clean ‘Old Bills’ Granny flat up. I think I got more paint on me than on the walls, She was Soo grateful none the less … There are Soo many stories, too many to remember… But my memories and heart will never forget her.
Goodnight for now Aunty Joan, catch ya later.
Love always Nola or thingamajig whichever comes to mind first. 😀
