  4. Our sincere love and condolences to all of Joan’s family – Leanne, Kerry and Carolyn and their families…

Joan was a great blessing to our family and of course her Northside Baptist Church, Para Vista, congregation (until and even after she moved to Murray Bridge). All of us that knew her have many fond memories of both Joan (and of course Keith also). Many of us also have a hand made carry bag, knitted doll, quilt or similar to remember Joan by. New babies born at NBC often received a thoughtful and practical hand made gift from Joan during her time with us, and even after she left in some cases. She was a great friend and loved by us all. Joan was still knitting trauma dolls for local hospital emergency rooms and ambulances until very recently!

Joan was already ready to help someone in need in true Christian love and service to the best of her ability. She is now in glory with her Lord Jesus Christ, and deservedly so, based solely on her love for and faith in Him.
” We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8.
We pray that Joan’s family will be consoled with that sure knowledge.
Isaiah 53:4″ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:…”
    With love and God’s blessings
Andrew and Karen Ferguson, and daughters Amanda and Rebecca and grandchildren Zoe, Theodore and Eleanor – (all of whom received much love and many gifts from Joan)
    We shall miss her.
