CLARK, Dale William ‘Buddy’

Dear Denise, Ebony and Bronte and family, I am sorry I will be unable to attend Dales funeral this week.
It was lovely to see Bronte’s wedding video with Dale walking her down the aisle and the father and daughter dance :)
He was so proud of both the girls. ( whom I haven’t seen in a long time) He was also a pround grandfather :)

Denise I remember the night I got a phone call from Dr Michael Laver at 2am when I was up breastfeeding Mitch born 4/11/1992 so not sure if it was 1992 or early 1993 to ask if I had another phone number for Dale as I was the DATA secretary at the time as RMH had rang to say they had a kidney for Dale and did I have another phone number for him?
I think you were in Charlton or somewhere on the way to an appointment in Melbourne anyway
I was so excited as My Dad had his transplant in Sept 1992 at RMH as well.
I haven’t been on touch with local DATA since my Dad passed away.
However I thought of Dale often and he was always so friendly and happy to help, I remember him changing jobs as did Dad to avoid skin cancer as a result of the immune suppressing drugs.
I wish you all well and safe journey Dale to a pain free place.

To Denise and family. Our heartfelt condolences. Dale was an inspiration with his determination to overcome the odds on so many occasions. His support and friendship over recent years was something l will remember always. Nobody understands better than someone who has already been there. He loved his family and your support kept him going. Its now time for him to rest and we will remember an incredible person who was taken too soon. Love to you all. X

Our deepest condolences. Dale was an inspirational man and so grateful we got to experience his knowledge through the kids basketball. Such a determined and loving man on and off the court.
