I have great memories of early NWVIC Ambulance days in Robinvale and the Doyle’s friendship with my mum and dad but my personal appreciation came from being trained by Eileen jn ‘theatre ‘ at Mildura Base Hospital.
She was an excellent Theatre Sister and ran a very firm and efficient workplace but maintained warmth and friendliness.
I remember how she taught us to slap those instruments into the hands of the surgeons correctly and confidently!
She is a legendary figure of my Mildura Base Hospital days and will be remembered fondly .
Sincere condolences
Sharolyn and Earle ChislettA nursing legend has gone to rest. Finchy was an amazing mentor and at the same time could overwhelm to young nurses.
