Funeral NoticeFamily and friends of the late Mr Rick Hill are respectfully informed that his funeral service will be conducted at the Chapel of North West Funerals, Deakin Avenue, Mildura, on Monday December 9, 2019 at 11.00am. At the conclusion of the service the cortege will proceed to the Murray Pines Lawn Cemetery, Deakin Avenue.
It is with a broken heart we struggle to accept that you have gone. Great mate to Big Col, a huge support to myself and an awesome role model to Zach. You nurtured Zach like he was one of your own after Col passed away, a great surrogate father figure, you and Col could not have been prouder than when your 1st sons were born within months of each other, 30yrs of great times, so many memories and fun times, you were one of a kind. You were family and we loved you for that. Not sure how we will survive without your larger than life personality and protective nature of us. No more crazy antics, crocodile boots, and Texas hat’s with Hawaiian shirts and no more burnt barbies. No more veggie garden stories or tips on good shares, no more kangaroos or head quarter’s, no more red wine and a great story whilst we sat around the fire, life will not be the same. We love you immensely and will look after Lisa and the kids like you looked after Zach and I. Drink up with Big Col and create a little mayhem together. Love you to the moon and back Kylie and Zach xx
December 9, 2019Oh how I will miss my favourite uncle and I know he was special to all of us. I will miss him.
December 12, 2019Oh how I will miss him, my uncle. My dad was so disappointed when he found out how it happened. I will never forget him. Now dad only has Uncle Barney to drink beer with. (once all three of them drank at tall skinny bottles of port)
