We have enjoyed Barry’s company for forty years and have many fond memories of evenings together, at which Barry was always great fun.

He had a great appreciation of nature, particularly the River. On a number of occasions, we were better off for having sought Barry’s advice about reading the natural environment. On all of his marvellous trips with Anne, he appreciated the wider Australia and other countries. Anne now has an extensive collection of movies of these trips.

Above all, his love and support for his family was evident and he will be remembered for this. Our sympathy is with Anne and all Barry’s family.

Barry. It is so terribly sad to hear you have now taken your wings and soared. We only knew you a short time Barry but you were a man of heart and compassion.

Both you and Annie extended your life for several years so that we could come into your life. You put up such a brave fight.

And Annie you did everything possible to support the man you loved for 55 years so you could be together a little longer. We are here for you at the end of a phone call.
