April 19, 2024A true gentleman and friend, happy memories.
Life is just a bowl of cherries.
April 20, 2024My Uncle Eric was one of the most caring and gentle men that our family were lucky enough to have known and loved. . He spent many days here in Maleny, telling his nephews and nieces funny stories, life stories, tall stories (always the favourite) interesting anecdotes, travelling stories and gold hunting stories. We were all so lucky that he would travel north to Queensland in winter to spend the time with us. We will miss his huge warm laugh and will always remember his warm and caring personality.
April 21, 2024My sincere condolences to all of Eric’s family and friends. I’m so honoured to say that Eric was a great friend and I cherish the times spent with him detecting having a cool beverage and just listening to some of his true Aussie stories. If dictionaries had pictures when you looked up a gentleman you would see a pic of Eric.RIP my friend I’ll think of you often your friend Togga.
April 21, 2024I never knew my big cousin as Eric. He was Junior or Bomber to our family! So as a child I never knew what to call him! What wasn’t confusing was his ready smile and good humour. Listening to Mum (Aunty Ness) on the phone to Junior, he always had her giggling. She loved those calls and his visits to Qld with Midge, for which My sister Alison also made sure she was around for My eldest brother David also has many fond memories of our cousin

Love aunty meg.Such a true gentlemen. I met Eric during my working career with Midge. He was a family man first and foremost. His care and compassion for others was unsurpassed. I had many a long chat with Eric following Midge’s passing and his love for her was never ending and at times he was lost without her. He idolized Erika, and was so proud of her every achievement. He could never talk about life without talking about his two dear loves.
Truly a great man, now free with Midge. God bless Eric xx
