The son of our Mother’s (Nola) twin brother Neil Johns. We remember our first cousin with love and kindness. We remember fondly Garry staying for school holiday visits on the ‘block’ and his gentle friendly nature. Our love to Aunty Maxine, Peter, Malcolm and their families. Our condolences to Raelene, his helpmate and love. Our hugs to Nathan, Brooke, Brendan and Stefanie and their families. Thinking of you all at this sad time. Heather, Keith (dec) and Lynley TraegerDear Gary
Thanks for being a wonderful mate all my life, our times together were priceless. You watched my back for many years on the footy field and in general life. You supported me when I had my struggles with my own health checking in on me regularly. I wish we could have had many more but life didn’t allow it so enjoy your time fishing in the big sky, meeting up with your Dad and Ando again. Thanks for organising all the catch ups over coffee with the old gang. There are too many words and too many good times to write down and express how much I loved you.
Till we meet again

We are thinking of you all at this sad and emotional time and please do not hesitate to call on us at any time.
All our Love
Shane, Kylie, Bronte, Deklan and TJGary you were one of our sons, your cheeky smile and your cheeky ways will be sadly missed. You gave me heaps when I tried to pull you in line with your drinking and your antics. I would bring you inside and feed you breakfast when I looked out the window and saw you sleeping in your car out the front of our place. I would love to have those days back again but we cant.

Gaz,
You were someone I looked up to when I started at South, you were always inclusive, always welcoming and always someone who was fun to be around. You included me which was something i hold dear and from our first river trip to our last I was a lucky man to have you consider me a friend. We’ve shared many a trip, many personal occasions and always shared a beer and a laugh.
To Rae, Nathan, Brendan and Stefanie, to his Mum Maxine and Sid, to his brothers Peter and Mal and to their families I can only offer my sincerest of condolences.
Rest In Peace my friend from #22

Gaz, you came into our lives when our Dad, Sydney met your Mum Maxine. Myself , Mandy, Stacey & Keshia will always remember spending times in your swimming pool. We will always be grateful for the opportunity of being a part of you and your family. For me personally, I will miss your banter and arm wrestles.
If you were a car you would have been a fast one that’s for sure, but most of those end up at the wreckers in the early days . You were too skilful for that, instead you had a few near misses along the way. The body might have had a few dents and the paint faded under the hot Mildura sun. Unfortunately you spent too many times on the rev limiter and maybe should have short shifted a few times, but that was not your style.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Raelene , Nathan, Brooke, Ellie, Brendan and Stefanie.
Peter and Kaylene, Malcolm and their families.
Our deepest sympathy to Maxine and dad (Syd) and all the extended Johns families.Bob and Mandy Knudsen

SauceYou were one of a kind a Spaz. As a young fella coming into the Seniors so many years ago, I will never forget how supportive and welcoming you were, the laughs you provided and how much you gave to make the footy club somewhere we all loved to be.
My thoughts go out to Raelene, Nathan, Brendan, Steph, Peter and Mal.

So sorry to read of Garry’s sudden death.
My thoughts are with you and your family at this very difficult time.
Kaye EastwoodGary was a truly great person to be around. South Mildura in the 90’s was a great place to be and there were many good people and good times but there were none better than ‘Spaz’.
A true Bulldog legend. Great man, great friend and a privilige to have known.
Darcy McEwan.
