Doug passed away peacefully surrounded by love, at Mildura Base Public Hospital on November 2, 2024, aged 88 years.

Much loved husband of Lillian for 63 years.

Loving father and father-in-law of Kaylene and Sno, Cheryl and Larry, Jason and Angela.

Grandpa of Maddison, Isabella, Victoria, Brittany; Lachlan, Shinae, and their partners.  Great grandfather of Hudson Stanley.

Funeral Notice

In keeping with Doug’s wishes, a private service will be held.

  1. Oh Dear. Sincere condolences to Lillian & all the family. Doug was always a Gentleman. He was one of the best RACV mechanic service men ever. No matter what time of the day or night , Doug would never leave anyone stranded, by a Vehicle breakdown, on the road. He helped many tourists on every highway near Red Cliffs. Andy & Pat.
