PENNY, Shirley Dawn (née Davidson)
Shirley’s wish was granted with her peaceful passing at home, surrounded by love.
Much loved and adored wife of Albert ‘Bert’. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Greg, David and Suzanne, Dayle and John, Anne and Shaun. Grandmother of Tarryn and Locky, Annalise, Lauren and Jeb; Nathan and Josie, Tamara and Dean; Lloyd and Jade. Great-grandmother of Luella, Aria, Blake, Ivy, Violet, Philippa, Ellie-Grace and Fraser.
To all the men out there who love their wife, tell them you love them and hold their hand every day, it’s so important. We are all busy, but we forget the most important times is for wife and family – when you lose the most precious love of your life for 72 years, it breaks your heart. What that woman has done in her life is amazing, she loved people and gave of herself in the highest order of people, the Mayor of Mildura. Premiers, Prime Minister Howard, so many. The most important part she gave of herself with love and respect. Love Bert.
