Billy Walker, always a gentleman, good for a laugh and a man that we are honoured to have known for nearly 30 years. You will be missed! Rest in peace Bill.
August 7, 2020Bill Walker, a pleasure to have worked with you all those years ago. Everyday you made me laugh. I loved your stories of being a crop dusting pilot. I remember the day you retired from CFA Ballarat. A Regional Officer and I took the hinges off your door. When the door opened, it fell flat on the floor, you just walked along it and sat at your desk. You always had the last laugh. Rest In Peace Mr Walker.

August 8, 2020Bill Walker you were the nicest gentleman I have ever met, your sense of humour, cheeky smile, and love for your daughter Neta are all the beautiful attributes that made you so special. You left us way too quickly and we will miss you so much as we looked forward to your visits and Neta always have you the best smiles. However I know once your independence was taken away and your illness took over you were ready to join Dawn and Chris in the heavens… Enjoy your family reunion Mr Bill (as I called you) and I hope they have a good brew ready for you. So much love and respect Tania K from 80 Chaffey xo
August 12, 2020A wonderful man, now at rest with his adored wife Dawn. Will miss not seeing you head up the street, on your gopher with “Stumpy” running alongside. Thanks for your funny stories and the Christmas ham. A true gentleman, gone but not forgotten RIP Billy.
August 12, 2020Very fond memories of Bill (uncle) trying seriously to teach me to box, and I just laughed .

August 12, 2020Bill Walker, the last of 7 brothers and sisters. Bob, Roy Jack, Bonny, Silvia, and my mother Lorain.
None of life’s challenges could stop Bill becoming,
A champion foot baller
A champion cricketer
A champion pilot
A champion bowler
A champion fire fighter
A champion teacher
A champion leader
A champion friend
However all these accolades compare little to the champion husband and father you were.
You were the roll model of a true gentleman.

August 13, 2020Uncle Bill you never once said “why me” each time you were dealt a cruel blow, instead you’d stand up and face it full on with your no nonsense and good humour approach to life.

You were always up for a good yarn and beer 🍺 with anyone you met across the country and even overseas. If ever you were in the neighbourhood you’d happily seek out your mates for a catch up.
I was fortunate enough to have lived with Uncle Bill, Aunty Dawn, Neta and Chris in Bendigo. On the weekends I’d find Bill out in his shed checking over my bicycle making sure it was road worthy as I’d clocked over 70km a week going to Uni. We had some great chats in his shed about home brew, cricket , flying, football, bureaucrats and everything in between. People always felt better after spending time with Billy Walker.
You will be greatly missed by all who had the honour of knowing you.
R.I.P with my beloved Aunty Dawn, cousin Chris(Fonzi) and Stumpy.
